MISSION Strengthening families and community systems through collaboration Our mission is accomplished by: Providing the opportunity for residents and education, health, social service and human service providers to exchange information and share resources; Maintaining a web site designed to inform users about available resources for families and children; Bringing members together to assess community needs and assets through subgroups and grant writing. Working together to conduct long-range community planning. Membership is open to all and is established by participation in FCP activities designed to promote collaboration. Framingham Community Partners was started in 1998 as a way to bring together agencies to share resources. Today Framingham Community Partners includes more than 50 organizations who meet 5 times a year to learn about community resources, to network, and to share information vital to each other. Framingham Community Partners is led by a steering committee which helps to plan full partnership meetings. |
